Solar PV
With a Greene Tech Renewable Energy solar power system you can save money on or eliminate your monthly power bill, insulate yourself from utility rate increases, and protect your home from power outages.
Ask these questions before choosing a solar company
1) Are you a NABCEP Certified PVIP Installation Professional?
This voluntary certification provides a set of national standards by which PV Installation Professionals with skills and experience can distinguish themselves from their competition. PV Solar is a specialized area that requires more knowledge than just an electrical license provides.
3) Where are you based? Do you have a local office?
With a local company, you form a partnership with your installer. Local solar companies are dependent on referrals, which means every solar installation is just as much an investment for the installer as it is for the person who’s having the system installed. Supporting local businesses isn't just beneficial for you, it's better for the local economy too.
2) Do you use local installers or subcontractors outside the area?
Local companies and their employees are more invested in their community and reputation than subcontractors from out of state. And we are more accessible for ongoing maintenance and support, providing quicker response times if issues arise.
4) Has the salesperson installed or serviced a solar system?
Solar systems are complicated and intricate. Hands-on experience provides deeper insight into the installation process, potential challenges, and system performance. A salesperson with practical experience can offer more accurate advice, answer technical questions confidently, and provide realistic expectations for your solar project.
